What's In A Name Reading Challenge

I am participating in the Christian Fiction Devourers What's In A Name Reading Challenge at goodreads. You can check out the challenge and sign up here.

The challenge details are as follows:

This one is different but I thought it could be fun for our adventurous readers- it's called "What's in a name challenge?" You would need to read a total of 6 books meeting the following criteria:

1) A book with a food in the title- ie "The Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder".

2) A book with a body of water in title- ie" Wonderland Creek".

3) A book with a "title" in the title -ie "The Queen" or "All the President's men"

4) A book with a plant/tree in the title -ie- "The Wind in the Willows"

5) A book with a place in the title- The "Love finds you" series would be perfect to fit in here.

6) A book with a music term in the title- ie- "Song of Solomon"

I haven't actually chosen my books for this challenge yet.

New Author-To-You Reading Challenge

I have chosen Obsessed - 10 new authors.

I have quite a few authors on my wishlist which will easily fit this challenge.

In 2011 I joined in their reading challenge to read 125 books which I completed by reading exactly 125 books. This year I have again challenged myself to read 125 books. If you sign up on their website you can log each book as you read it and it will update how much of the book you have read as you update each time and also keeps a count of how many books you have read and what percentage of your challenge you have completed.

I also belong to several groups that have a monthly book or two selected to read each month and also have reading challenges. I will list the challenges I am participating in seperate posts.

My wishlist continues to grow daily as see all the great books everyone else is reading and recommending.

Of these books I read I borrowed 119 books from the library. I do my best to support my local libraries and book the majority of the books that I read as being an avid reader I just couldn't afford to buy all the books that I would like to.

This doesn't mean to say that I didn't buy many books myself in 2011 as I certainly did. I just tend to borrow as many as I can as I just don't have the dollars nor the storage to be able to support my reading habit. LOL....

I always enjoy reading Robyn's book and this book was no exception. Robyn is great at being able to draw you into the story and have you keen to turn the pages to find out just what is going to be happening next.

The story opens with Clare visiting what was the home that she used to live in with her husband and son and where her husband now lives on his own since their separation. Clare knowing that Roger was to be away for the weekend and unable to celebrate his birthday at home has called at the house to retrieve some of personal belongings knowing that they aren't likely to be anything that Roger will miss and also to leave a birthday card for Roger for his 40th birthday. Upon her arrival in the kitchen Clare hears sounds from upstairs and intrigued goes to investigate as after all her husband is suppose to have been away. The sounds lead to the bedroom where she finds Roger in bed with a woman. This is not the first time that Clare has known Roger to be unfaithful but is definitely going to prove to be the very last time that Clare puts up with it.

Clare is shocked and flees the house. As she departs the house she gets pulled over by a traffic officer for speeding and as he follow her she is involved in a car accident when someone collects her at the intersection. From there the story goes on to reveal what happens when the traffic officer falls for Clare, Roger tries to grovel to Clare to take him back one more time and a guy from Clare's past all try to compete for Clare.

Who will be the guy that Clare ends up with? Well to find that out you will just have to get a copy of this book and read it to find out.
